Apparently it was able to overcome a trip wire that's used to protect the camp.

Where possible any animal that kills and eats a human being is hunted down and the undigested remains are taken from the animals gut, be it a bear, lion tiger or shark.
Some years ago an American and his girlfriend were in the wilds of Canada, he classed himself as a bear whisperer by getting close to bears and filming them.
He was attacked by a bear and killed, the bear then turned on his girl and killed her, the video camera fell to the floor while still recording audio.
Rescuers retrieved the camera and on playback they heard the sounds of the bear eating and crunching on their bones.
Trappers in the Canadian wild always inspect bear poo to see if there are any trinkets such as rings, bracelets etc, indicating that a bear has eaten a human being.

You go into a wild animals domain at your own risk as Steve Irwin the Austrlian wild life expert found out to his cost when he was stung by a sting ray.
It was only a matter of time before he got slotted when you used to see the stupid things he did with snakes and crocodiles.
I dont go down in the woods at the back of my house for fear of getting bombarded by acorns thrown by squirrels.

Whenever an animal kills a human, it's always hunted down and killed,,, yet when a human scum kills another human, they're hunted down, caught, imprisoned (in luxury), released, then often go on to kill again.
It's a shame the lad was killed,,, but it's a disgrace the hungry bear was killed for being in it's own enviroment. If you go to a dangerous place, you should know the risk you're taking.

Can you imagine half a ton of snarling beast coming at you with the intention of eating you? stuff of nightmares.
A 7 or 8 stone kid would have had no chance against such a beast.

Digressing a little bit here, but what about that guy a few weeks ago who was bitten by a king cobra snake, within minutes he was dead of a massive heart attack, play about with wild animals like this but at your own risk, complacency is the word I am looking for.
