Poll on Servotech!!

Should we hold a Poll on the banning of Servotech. The vote being;

He should be banned for incorrectly showing the Trade in a poor light?
He should be banned for making financial gain from betraying the Trade?
He should be banned for having a media career without having Max Clifford as his agent?

Or

He should not be banned, as he was drugged by that wee guy that does the sports on BBC Breakfast telly?

Dick, is not discussing getting banned a little risky for you?

I dont find his programs very disturbing and they do go to pains to point out that only a very few are cowboys.

Yesterday I had someone call me at 1700 hrs asking how much we charge to repair a boiler. I explained out fixed price diagnostic fee and discussed the symptoms. She said that she was wary of big firms employing engineeers paid on a percentage of the bill!

As she was looking after herself so correctly I stopped by an hour later and was able to sort it out for her within the fixed fee. Even though it was evening I did not charge her the extra for evening visits. She is very likely to call me to service it soon.

Yeah, your £85 diagnostic fee is a bargain Tony, I wish we could charge that for topping up a combi or re-lighting a pilot of an evening....

Totally agree. He is a massive sell out.

How the hell is inventing situations going to help anyone? Rigging equipment and blatant lying will only scare people.

At the end of the day, there is still a big element of trust in this game. Doing what he has done sends a fat message that we are all out there to screw everyone over.
