Pop up Bath plug not seating correctly

Hi all ,

I have recently (3 months ago) had a bath installed with the pop up design (pictured)

Recently it’s started not closing fully, I’ve adjusted the screw on the plug itself but then it doesn’t rise enough etc. my thinking is that the cable isn’t moving the plug enough as when I pulled the plug out and watched the mechanism being controlled by the cable it’s hardly moving…

Any suggestions on how to solve this problem please?

I would suggest you call back the installer .

As above, get installer back. Those popup wastes rely on careful placement of the control cable- just shoving it in gets the results you're experiencing.
