Nope it's fairly painful as you'd expect really. I fractured the socket part after a 16ft fall onto concrete, it's an unusual break apparently.

The operation is something called an orif, it was done 2 weeks ago, today they took the staples out and now I've got a further 6 weeks on crutches putting no weight on it.
