Potterton Suprima controversy

I saw on tonights 'Watchdog' that Potterton are now repairing all their dodgy boards free of charge where the customer has a full service record.

The quote went something like this:-

"Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance"

Feel free to correct me if I lost the essence of that quote

Now hands up all of you Potterton Suprima owners with a full service record?
 
And only if the pumps wired to the boiler and an ABV if 2x 2 ports are used?. Can't see many boards being changed.

If that was Potterton's attitude then wouldn't they answer their telephone within 20 seconds instead of leaving you hanging on for in excess of 30 minutes sometimes on an 0870 number?

You can bypass that though by calling on 01926 405405 !!!

If they are so interested in satisfying customers then they would have a freefone 0800 number like we do!

We do play nice music though to give you real value for money :D

by the way benchmark books have to be filled out as well where appropriate :? how many of these do you see filled out :shock:

no we are just asking that people have the applince installed as per installation instructions and maintained as per them as well :?
is that really to much too ask :?
compare it to taking yourcarto the garage cos your engine has blown up after 2 years and expect a new one the first thing they are going to ask you is have you had it serviced :P

and what possible difference does all of this make when dealing with a dodgy pcb.....i agree its a cop out.

congrats to them for being clever enough to get out of replacing several thousand pcbs though  8)
