Why is my boiler bounching in and out,it fires up then cuts and almost instantly re-ignites and goes on doing this all the time if I let it. First repair man said it was the air pressure switch and orderd one and fitted it. All appeared fine for an hour or so after he left and then it started again.

Clearly the air pressure switch was not the problem anyone iany idea on what to check next,or is it time to skip the thing?

Check voltage to Gas Valve with multi meter. If its jumping about then suspect PCB (most likely)

Or if it stays constant then you have a solenoid problem.

Surely you should be calling back the repair man if he did not fix it?
