Hi.
Can anyone tell me how much power (HP) to produce 1 Kw of electricity :shock:
 
746w= 1 hp but to produce 1 kw it would obviously take more and was wondering if anyone knew

1 hp = 746Watt but I believe that was from 1 experiment with a factor of 50% added on for good measure and don`t forget efficiency.

So get 1000 "average horses" (dangerous word that - average) and check the total amount of usefull work done Blah, Blah, Blah etc etc

BTH is just as daft/boring
