What are the best powerflush machines/makes on the market today. Would like answers from those who use them on a regular bases. ta

I've got the Sentinel, Mk 3. Never had any complaints or problems with it yet.

It is now 6 years old and used on average once a week.

got mine from Abcot about 10 years ago 1/2 the price of others available at the time. still going strong (about £350 if i remember correctly)
secret is to rinse it out everytime when you have finished to get crud out of it.

we have kamco units too

one of which i think is well over ten and still going strong.

I think the fernox machine is quite tidy too and, i think, it has the highest working temp too.

Norstrom Proflush. Quality machine and excellent backup from company. Beware of some of the cheaper machines, "junior" etc.. lower flow rate just means less effect. A domestic circulator is as good as a cheap machine, ie pointless.
also the proflush takes heat up to 85c. Which is very useful.

I originally had a Rothenberger that was absolute carp and changed to a Kamco about 5 years ago. It does the job and is still going strong after many flushes.
Steve

I've got Norstrom Proflushes (3) and they have been used intensively (ie: nearly every working day) , the oldest one being 6yrs and the youngest 1yr.

They can be fitted with a heater, this is very useful on winter installs where the old boiler is knackered.

Just brought a 2nd hand C30 kamco power flush machine. Their website claims there is free training but it appears if the previous owner has registered the serial number then no one else is entitled to training. What a mean spirited "computer says no!" bunch of people Kamco is.

Bottom line is don't buy a 2nd hand Kamco power flush without checking the serial number is valid for training.

Welcome to the human race

Very self righteous bunch

If you feel to add non constructive comments then why bother ?

I just what to warn other people that the training as advertised on Kamco's website does not apply to 2nd hand machines

When dishing out £500 on a peice of equipment I would of thought you would get some support from the manufacturer. After all it would cost Kamco exacty nothing to add me on the training course.
