Hi kathekas,
This is what I have for Communication Options in Wintex
Premier Elite 24 with COM-GSM

Options Tab

Ticked "Enable Communicator"

ARCs Tab

Only ARC1 configured, ARC2 is disabled

ARC1:
Protocol: SMS Messaging
Pri. Tel: First Mobile to SMS
Sec. Tel: Second Mobile to SMS
Dial Attempts: 2 (this was default, dont think it affect SMS)

Protocol Options:
Ticked "Enable GSM" and "Use GSM First"

Report for:
Ticked "Area A" and "Area B" - though in the end I only have Zones on Area A

Reporting Options:
I have ticked: "Priority Alarms/Cancels", "Alarms/Cancels", "Maintenance Alarms", "Tamper Alarms", "Test Transmissions"

This will report all alarms, tampers, and when the panel goes in/out of engineering mode

NOTE: If you dont want all users to receive all of these messages, what you could do is set up ARC1 to send all messages to one number, and then set up ARC2 in the same way, but restrict what they receive an SMS for.

Panel Com Port Options
COM Port 2: GSM Module (this is the one I have it connected to)

No need to populate the SMS centre options, as mentioned by sparkymarka that is where the SMS centre is configured for TAP services (over phone line).

The COM-GSM will use the SMS centre settings from the SIM card.
