Howdy!

Our 6x6foot bathroom is currently tiled up bottom to top all the walls. These tiles are probably 40+ years old and easy to remove. The wall behind is quite smooth with the old plaster in place - not much damage apart from few places with "deeper holes".

I'm going to retile around the bath, but all other walls/areas will be painted (no direct contact with water on there).

Now, I'm not good with plastering... And I cannot afford a pro for this small job...

So what ready-mixed plaster/joining compound(?) can I use please?

I'd like to achieve a smooth wall ready for painting with a correct bathroom paint. The product recommended needs to be suitable for bathroom/wet rooms.

Going to use Toupret TX100 interior filler.

Wish me luck
