Pressure Washer - connector to attach hose?

The wide end of the connector in the first photo attaches directly to a pressure washer. The water supply hose should attach to the narrow end and the direction of water flow is indicated by the red colour arrow. The wide end screws onto the pressure washer without issue, however I'm wondering what attachment is required to attach the narrow end to a garden hose. There is a small collection of various attachments which have been tried (photo 2) though can't seem to find anything to fit. What attachment should be obtained in order to attach a garden hose?

Watch you don't use a one way valve with the water going the wrong way as that will cut supply.
You can bust the one way valve in a fitting if required. I've done that many times as they are a pain plus limited use.
The brass fittings will fit on.

Thanks Wayners. I tried that, but the brass opening isn't quite wide enough.

This is a screenshot from Youtube about the same washer connecting the clear plastic attachment to the hose. I dont' think it's a double end female connector shown there as I also tried one of those. What would that section be called if I'm looking for one in a shop?

The arrow I have drawn on the image below is the direction of the arrow which is stamped on this part. You may have to click on image to see this. Does this indicate flow of water, or not?
