How do we rid ourselves of people who believe the first half of that, something which medical experts have said is “biologically nonsensical”, “scientifically illiterate” and with “no basis in science or medicine”?

You see this is yet another instance where your ignorant refusal to accept what people who know more than you say, just because you don't like the truth, will not change reality.

Even if lawmakers produce a law which echos your false beliefs, all that means is that they are as scientifically illiterate as you.

The Council of Human Rights of the Council of Europe (Council of Europe created the ECHR to protect Human Rights, and is nothing to do with the EU, for those unaware) has told the UK Home Secretary of its concerns over UK's policies on Trans Rights

It has also expressed its concern over the UK's excessive use of preventing protests.

So has the UK lurched to the right? You bet your life it has, and under a Labour government, Human Rights are being eroded.
The irony is that Labour are using the scare tactics of "it'll be a Reform government unless we accept some of their bigotry" argument to align itself with populism.
