Prince Andrew settles US civil sex assault case

Let's not forget, in a roundabout way, if the firm is paying a portion of the millions, that means we the public are paying. How? Because even if it's coming out of the modern day coffers, how did the firm establish itself and its wealth in the first place ...

Exactly what I a a taxpayer at 40% wants to know and we have emailed our MP to demand answers.

Some are saying it 12 million other 20 million so in between I guess.

What I can't comprehend is that he is innocent so why the millions??
What i can't understand is that if this isn't about money, why didn't the lady refuse the settlement?

Disgusting news!!

Anyone who worked for the council will know that getting fired is comes as easy as a fart.

This imbecile. clown has brought disgrace up his family the Royal family and made himself a proper laughing stock. A lol stock that has been stripped of
titles and his prized military uniforms. So why strip him of those and not other titles??

The times they are a changing. All he did was what thousands of others in his elite position of wealthy have been doing for centuries - he went to lavish parties and partied with lavish men and women. Immoral, maybe to some. Illegal, probably not (although the minimum age of an escort in the UK is 18, but nobody seems to have mentioned this - if she was trafficked and an escort, then he did commit a UK crime, but odd that this is not the topic ... )

Anyway, if you can say that in the last century, no army, navy officers, football teams, businessmen or stag party goers have enjoyed the occasional escort at a bar or party, then maybe he is a disgrace and should be treated as such. But, well, a lot of men do what he has done, and a lot of women are not "trafficked" but chose their profession. Not all escorts are coerced, kidnapped, drugged and raped. (eg, is this "high-class" escort trafficked and coerced?). Many chose that lifestyle. As one "madam" once said to me (in a past life I worked for a company that did marketing for some of London's elite escort agencies ... I would have preferred not to, and left that company when I could afford to!) the reason they don't have male escorts is because most women that would use one are also happy to walk into a bar and flirt with the fittest man to bed him, but for many men on the other hand, this is not a viable option (although apps like Tinder are changing that) and if they want instant sex, they call an agency.

Maybe the world needs to change, but while it continues as it is, rich men will be rich men, and some pretty women will still be more than happy to "party" with them

Maybe I am wrong about this, but as said before, he seems to be a scape goat for everything else that goes on in that high class society. We can pretend that it will all stop now he was caught and made to pay up.

#metoo movement is vitally important, but we must not forget that some people chose this lifestyle, and are now taking advantage of recent changes in attitude.
In the old days it was called blackmail...

Load of fuss over nowt of any great importance imo

Transam gives not a jot who paid his costs or the money to the lady

what is absolutely certain is the tax payer did not

any one who claims that it came from the tax payer / public funds is a b*** end :ROFLMAO:

so it came from private money which means it’s no ones bussiness apart from those who coughed up

But how did that 'private money' come into the hands of the 'monarchy'?

No better than all the other dirty money flowing into the UK...

A few people making obscene amounts of money on the back of the taxpayer...

The problem is said taxpayers don't realise they are being conned!

In the meantime...

"Virginia Giuffre did not sign a non-disclosure agreement as part of her settlement with Prince Andrew, her lawyer says – paving the way for her to speak out about the alleged sexual abuse.
The Queen’s disgraced son reached a multi-million-pound settlement with Ms Giuffre on Tuesday to stop her civil lawsuit against him going to trial.
But Ms Giuffre’s lawyer has confirmed she did not sign an NDA as part of the agreement – meaning she is free to tell her story publicly."

Choose your timing carefully Virginia...

Just before a certain 'jubilee' might be a good one (y)

Shove it up their royal arses as payback!
