Hi everyone,
Desperately hope someone can help me!!!
I own a pre-WW1 house, and the walls are covered in a very deep layer of very soft, crumbly plaster, the bricks behind being extremely hard.
I'm having a nightmare just trying to get anything put up on the walls, as drilling into the plaster is a disaster.... the drill will just not go through the brick, and if I use a hammer drill to do so, this just results in the hole in the plaster getting bigger & bigger so that a rawlplug is useless.
I can't even successfully hang a picture, let alone wall shelves
If anyone can help I'd be very grateful.
Thanks
Caroline.
