Hi,
I'm attempting to install the above transformer with 4 12V 35 Watt lamps wired in 1.5mm heat resist cable, all lengths less that 2m. It worked a treat until after about 2-3 hours the lights cut out. I allowed the transformer to cool (Though I cant understand why it got hot in the first place) and it worked again but not for so long. After another break I went to cool I turned it on and the transformer appears to have blown in some way.
Does the TX work horizontal to a wall or does it have to be flat, parallel to the ceiling for example? Can it be fixed to a wall --- or does there have to be free air all round? I'm struggling, as I believe I have followed all the rules and wiring is over spec. if anything.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
