I have a bathroom cabinet under the basin which gets often wet from water spilled from the tap above. The material looks like veneer finish on MDF. I know that there are oils for real wood but I am not aware of something for veneer. Is there any treatment, like a cream or spray, to protect the veneer cupboard from the bathroom moisture?

Sorry, I do not have a web link. It must be a kind of self-adhesive print not real wood veneer. It looks that it deteriorates mostly in the seams so I thought if I there is any a product to polish the cabinet and protect from moisture.
