Hi.
Are there any regulations on where I can fit a fan isolator pull cord sw (click) by a shower cubical.

I want to put one just outside the cubical, round the corner slightly, so it can be reached

The bit that screws to the ceiling is subject to the normal zone rules.

Did you mean Isolator or just a switch?

So 60cm from the cubical is Zone 2.

What can and can't I put in zone 2 ? I guess the answer is nothing!

humm this pic shows a switch in zone 2

Light switches
Cord-operated switches are permitted in zones 1 and 2 of your bathroom. While it’s recommended that you install these to combat the occurring humidity and condensation,

60cm. from the end of the cubicle.

As long as they are suitable, just about anything except a switch.

Do you have an electric shower? If so, where is it?

How do they do that? :)

I have a shower cubical. It has 3 walls.
The mixer shower is at the back.
It has a door at the front (but not full height)

I want to put the pull switch just outside the cubical, just round the corner

Ok. If it is higher than 2.25m, then you may.

If less than 2.25m. then it must be 600mm. from the door end of the shower wall.
