Somebody must have an opinion on this one!
I am putting in a new kitchen which means that I have to rearrange the plumbing a bit. I have alsways used compression fittings in the past but using pushfit connections appeals to me as they seem so easy to use. I know compression fittings are not rocket science but there is always one that has a tiny dribble of a leak and pushfits can be conected and reconnected so easily. The plumbing will be installed behind the cupboards so the compression fittings seem to give a more permanent solution. What do you guys think?

I have to say, I am yet to find a push fit that can disconnected easily!! Even with the tool I have usually ended up cutting the pipe and using a soldered joint.

I would go compression fittings and just makes sure they dont leak.

Garbage...compression fitting with a little sealing compound on the olive and the thread will not leak. They are far more reliable than pushfit but as gasandoilman says solder everytime for me.
