Pyronix - Enforcer V10 Install Help

Was only released yesterday so will take a week or so to get stocked. Says it comes with a wall mount bracket. Or use my earlier suggestion of a standard hardwired wall mount panic button wired into an Enforcer MC1/MC2 Transmitter.

Hi sparky marka should the mains panel run from my main switch board via a fuse spur? I'm replacing my existing alarm that was hard wired to the switch board with this unit but once I flick power on at the switch board in knocks the RCD circuits off. So I thinking it might need a fuse spur? If anyone can help? Thanks

Fuse spur only isolates the supply , if it's tripping the rcd you have an issue with the wiring , post picture of mains connection

Thanks for confirming that. Please see the image I know it's not connected right now because I've disconnected it. What I don't understand is that there is no earth wire in the panel tramsformer?

It's not required , it could be a faulty power supply ? Only way to prove if it's the panel is wire via a flex and plug top , in a socket ....does this trip the rcd ?

Last switch on the left is the one I'm using for the alarm. If I flick the switch on now (while the wires are not connected to panel) the RCDs stay on. Once I connect them back to the panel and switch it on then RCDs go off.

Sorry for being abit dumb, by running a flex, do you mean wiring it to a 3pin plug and plugging it into a wall socket?

Can you post a picture of all of the fuse board , where does the neutral go to ? It may be on the wrong side if it's a split load board !

Hi, you were right. I have hooked the neutral up to the wrong half of the board. Split board was new to me. Managed to get all detectors connect just got to play about with the zones and exits! Thanks so much for you help. Wish I'd have joined this forum years ago! First I'd heard of it after finding it on google! Thanks again!

Can anyone help with the unsetting of night mode?

I now have it set up so night mode is armed after the timer of 20sec ends. Perfect!

Arming and un arming with a PIR isn't an option as there is only one on the landing and this isn't armed at night because it would be activated when going to the bathroom.

When coming down stairs in the morning there is no way of telling if the alarm is active, no way of having and entry zone.

So if you think nobody is downstairs or are unsure if the alarm is active you after enter the code, sometimes only to find its not set and starts to set its self.

I would think a system like this you would be able to tell from the panel if it was active or not?

Please help.

You can program it to show what it is set to in the display , the display does blank down after around a minute so you would have to press a key ....the normal way is to have a pir ....let's say in the hallway set to part entry ( 09 ER/ FX PART ) which starts the timer in part set
