Hello Pyronix experts.
I've got an Enforcer V11 with the "Silence 1st Alarm" option enabled as I want triggers from 2x sensors before the bell sounds and I annoy neighbours.
Ignoring the rest of my setup for simplicity, I've got 3 ground floor rooms: Hallway, Lounge, Kitchen:
Hallway
- Entrance door with a Wireless mag contact, set as [07] Final Exit
- 1 PIR, set as [08] ER
Lounge
- PIR, [06] Intruder
Kitchen
- PIR, [06] Intruder
If I full set, and then sit still in the Lounge for 3 mins, it behaves like I'm trying to achieve, in that I can move about in the Lounge and the siren is silent (I get the Unconfirmed Alarm message in Home Control 2.0). As soon as I walk into Kitchen or Hallway and trip a 2nd PIR the siren sounds. This is what I want to happen.
However, if I full set and go outside via the FX, wait 3 mins and re-enter via the FX the entry timer starts as expected. The PIR in the same room does nothing (like I'd expect). But if I then walk into one of the other rooms and trip a 2nd PIR in that room nothing happens apart from "Issues" immediately report in Home Control (referring to sensors being open), the panel beeps like it's in a fault condition, and the siren does not sound. When the entry timer runs down to 0 the siren still doesn't sound - the panel just sits beeping as if it's in a fault.
The manual does state that Silence 1st Alarm is only valid once the system has been armed for 3 minutes and "not if the entry time has started". I don't understand why it's not valid if the entry timer is running. And I don't understand why in this configuration I create "issues" when additional PIR's are triggered during the entry timer and the siren doesn't sound at the end of the entry timer.
Any ideas?
