When men/women try to lose weight and succeed and lose a lot of weight around their face, what do you call that bit that hangs below
their chin and at times looks like a massive camel toe, chicken/turkey neck

Thanks

Medical term is likely cutis laxa, or similar.
ie loose skin.

Good morning
Many thanks
Sincerely appreciated.

I just hope I never go overweight then try to lose weight when older and get a Cutis etc. However, should the worse happen, is there anyone here that had one and managed to remove via excercise. Sure it will go away if you start putting on the pounds again. I've been looking under my chin and thankfully mum and dad had chiselled features and so won't get one as they don't. People often state I look no only than my late 40's but several years over that, lol.

Once it is loose it will generally stay loose. Another reason to avoid rapid weight loss if possible. Surgery is the only way.

I think for young people, will slow weight loss using fitness, then the skin may tighten at approx the same speed as fat tissue reduces, but in older people the skin does not recover so well.

I think that as one gets older, the skin loses its elasticity. So, we are all at risk. I definitely see my neck skin changing but I’ve not got a bingo wing on my chin yet :D

From my obs I've only noted the turkeys in old men and women. Thinking about it never noted it on a sub 50 person.

The turkey tongue hanging down is bad enough but when they get the camel toe, its awful.

We've been blessed with our parent's chiselled looks and all of can be safely described as slim and my sisters more so. Therefore. I'm hoping we won't need to lose weight and have turkey every day, lol.
