Hi All
I'm looking at using this to board out the hall, stairs and landing in our 1910's terrace. The brickwork in places is very wonky and this looks like it makes the job of levelling everything out much easier than using timber battens.
I'm struggling to find answers to a few things though, so any help you can offer would be gratefully recieved.
1) What distance apart do the verticals need to be for 1.8mx0.9m 12.5mm board, - Is 450mm OK as it means that each board standing vertically will have a vertical on each edge and one in the middle.
2) What happens where two boards meet, on the vertical edges - are the vertical metal battens wide enough for each board to be fixed onto one half of them ? Or do I need to use one vertical for each board ?
3) Similar to above, what happens at horizontal edges, i thought all board edges needed to be fixed to something behind them ?
4) Do I need horizontal noggins midway up the verticals - none of the pictures seem to show them...
Cheers
Matt
