Quotation query

Hi

I am just in the process of converting an integral garage into a playroom (all complying with building regs). I need a radiator adding and had a quotae from a plumber - the scope of work:
the room is 12' x 8', the boliler is actually in the same room and the main pipes from the boiler to the circuit are basically next to the location for the radiator.

To drain the system, fit a new radiator (with thermostatic valve) and refill I was quoted £300 - is this expensive or the going rate?

Just because the boiler and pipes are there does not mean this is where he will be teeing in for your new rad.
As they are the main flow and return, he needs to get back to heating flow and return
