Radiator Valve Query?

Hi, i am new to this sort of forum,but am hopimg that my problem can be sorted.
I am looking to install a narrow vertical column radiator to a 15mm combi boiler 2 pipe system.
Because of space restrictions, I am proposing to fit elbows straight into the rad and position the valves beneath the rad, or even to the side out of the way. I cannot see why not. anyone like to comment please? [/list]

the restriction is side to side overall i have about 70 cms extra to the rad

WHOOPS!!!

that 70 should be mm.

Use straight rad valves and position the heads inwards. ie under the radiator.
