I’m not a structural engineer, but it seems a bit lean for a support beam. Ask Tony or one of the other engineering bods. They’ll need to know the loads as well as the span.

@tony1851 - Hi Tony, just wondering if you could help me out on the above query and if the 2No 6x2 is adequate. I dont know the load but the tiled section area is 2700 x 1740
