For one described as :

WYLEX RCBO NSBS6/1 6A TYPE C RCBO 230V 30ma Type A

What does this mean ?

Type C being the MCB part.
30mA for the RCD. But why state Type A ? What does that mean

Thanks

Type A
RCDs for which tripping is ensured for residual sinusoidal alternating currents and residual pulsating direct currents, whether suddenly applied or slowly arising.

Whereabouts is this "Type A" indicated? I have a Wylex NSBS32 B type sat if front of me right now and both the box and RCBO itself only have one curve type indicated on them.

EDIT: Hmm, looks like i've learnt something new today!

Ok, thanks. So reading wikki, Type A is the normal for domestic.
Thanks

Type A or AC are common ones for domestic, there should be a picture on the device too saying what type it is:

Just above the lever there is the AC symbol in a box meaning it is an AC RCD.
On the one on the right is a picture with an AC line and a DC pulse below it - this means it type A.
