I considered screws, but then others pointed out the screw heads would show too much, especially if the sun hit them. So small nail heads were the better aesthetic fit.

I considered that, and I think they will be coming as the Stepdaughter randomly decided she wants to grow plants from seeds and to have them mounted on the wall.

I also have the task of making some rustic light fittings. https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/cable-for-edison-bulb-ceiling-lights.474499/, so will use the same boards mounted to them.

I would love a job where I can upcycle and repurpose things. Unfortunately, I do not have the space for all the tools/equipment I would like to buy lol.

I too would love a job like that, I expect that working at the local recycling centre would offer plenty of opportunities to do stuff like that too, however I do not have a many acre property to store all the future projects on that I would soon amass lol
