Hi
My system is UFH on three floors. Oil-fired boiler with weather-compensation and one central controller.
Since the living-floor (open-plan) has a wood-burner which will be used a lot, I will put the controller on bedroom level ( 3rd floor is a separate apartment downstairs)
Additional thermostats needed to control Honeywell two-position valves on boiler feed-manifold.
For general information, is there any technical reason/advantage why some thermostats are mains and some battery ?
I am in France but sourcing in UK.
Thanks.
