can anyone recommend a plumber in Poole? seems system does need a power flush i removed a rather blocked three way valve and the piework downstream looks pity choked, any idea what to pay for a powerflush?

Yeah sure. I know where they come from, cos that nonsense comes from there too, and I recognise it.
I have used one, and they're not great, but I haven't used a Kamco, which by the sound of it are also a bit weedy.
The motor's the same size, but whether the impeller parts are the same/as good (Kamco went through a couple of design iterations), I don't know.

and one smaller one ok for upto 25 odd rads, I will try to find out the flow rate and they dont say what it is on their website
but they lads who are using them day in and day out rave about them, we did try the fernox and sentinel ones but they werent as user friendly as the kamco

Its not really the unit thats so important but the skill of the operator and particularly the chemicals used which depend on the problem in the system.
In some areas they use "pink crystals", totally unidentified and the source of four problems I have had to investigate.
