Hi

We are due to have some work done in the house, which will involve removing one rad altogether, and moving one 300mm along (also fitting a thermostatic valve), my question is quite simple, does a Gas Safe Registered person need to do this? Its on a Combi system.

Which brings me to another question can anyone re-pressurise the system, or again do you have to be Gas Safe Registered?

The work is being carried out by a general builder so just want to double check he is allowed to do this?

Thanks

anyone can move anything on the wet side of the heating system, as long as they are competant to the point they do it properly, and even if they dont do it properly the system should be set up and fitted to prevent damage to the system if you do something wrong by overfilling
