Hi, I want to change cartridge in my bathroom tap, but I cannot remove the bonnet, I’ve tried with a strap wrench, to no avail, has anyone got any other ideas, thanks

Which bit are you calling the bonnet? The very top where the white identifier disc is, the retaining screw should be under that.

What are you using to remove it? Have you got a wide mouth adjustable spanner?

You have to remove the cap first, then remove the handle, then undo the decorative bonnet to get to the valve.

Removing the handle can be a futile exercise.

Edit, didn't see the last photo.
