Easy to change the oil on these......squared female plug on the bottom and a white filler / level plug on the front.
I used to be able to get gearbox bits easily from specialists but haven't done one for years.....wouldn't know where to look now. The easiest box to do was the FWD Cavalier.....you could change the clutch and remove the gearbox internals from under the O/S wheel arch . Brilliant design, never copied.....often wondered why.

i try an oil change see where we go from there hopefully half my gearbox won't turn up in the drip tray yes i will use a magnet
