No, unfortunately not. They're quite collectable now and feth thousands, amazing as they were once everywhere. Closest I got was borrowing a MK3 for a couple of months. 2 litre petrol, so a bit heavy on the juice. Good workhorses though. If you're talking vans with 'V' engines, you'd go a long way to beat the ex bpmb squad Sherpa a friend had some years ago - fitted with the Rover V8. Very quick, but ever so slightly tail-happy.
