I've bought my HIVE in the black Friday sale last year and have been waiting for the local plumber to install but he keeps fobbing me off.... so can anyone advise me on how to wire this up.... I've been through all the usual tutorials and can't make sense of them because they're all different timers. I want to change the old analogue time to hive..

Any help is greatly appreciated.... thanks

Brown L’s to Hive L
Blue N’s to Hive N
Link wire between L and common
Black L out to 3 on Hive (NO)

So something like this?

It might help you to understand more if you realise that on your old timer, the Nin and Nout terminals are not switched but are just two terminals in the same block which are connected all the time.
