my mother has a very very old glow worm back boiler fitted and has started to leak on heat exchanger, the only replacement i can find is a baxi one. now this might be a stupid question but will i still need external pump for heating cause it under laminate floor and really dont want to rip it up if i can avoid

The Old glow worm is probably connected for Gravity hot Water heating, it is unlikely that you can avoid taking the floor up i'm afraid!
