Hi folks.

All our internal doors are fitted with the "victorian brass" type handles similar to the this (though not exact)

What i would prefer is a white knob but that comes complete & fixed by a white backplate ... Does anyone know if such thing is available please ??

you wont get a knob on an oblong back plate

they are 2 different types knobs or lever

hnobs need more room to the frame so you have a knob and circular back plate with a seperate key hole that wont usualy line up with the knobs

where as lever furniture is nearer the frame and lines up with the key hole

if you want to use knobs you will have to drill out the lock mortice deeper fill in the bottom of the hole and change the lock and handle possition

if you put knobs on instead you will catch you fingers on the frame

Sounds like a non-starter then as just wanted to see what one looked like before committing to changing them all.

Thanks for response :)
