Hi,

I need to replace the platform boarding used with an aluminium tower as it is rotted and unsafe.

The current boarding looks to be plywood with some type of non slip layer on the upper surface. Can I replace it with marine plywood or do I also need to have the non slip coating on the upper face?

Finally, does anyone know if the boarding with the non slip surface can be bought already made up or is it just a case of buying some marine plywood and the non slip coating separately then fixing them together with adhesive?

RF Lighting,

Thx for the link, I will contact them to see if they provide small quantities as I only need two sections, each one 6ft by 2ft.

If they do not cater for the domestic market or small quantities then another option I suppose would be to use marine plywood, seal it with an acrylic paint or similar then apply a coat of non slip paint to the upper face?
