Hi all. I wonder if anyone can help? After my Salus RT510TX failed for a 2nd time in just 2 years I decided to fit a Hive mini single channel, to simplify things and also allow remote control while away, however it isn't working.

I connected the Hive receiver from terminals L, N & E and Room stat/ Timer in the boiler to terminals N, L with a link between L and 1 and 3 (From the room stat terminal in the boiler). Earth is also wired. I also removed the red link between the Room Stat terminals.

The Salus receiver is an RXBC5V and is currently still connected with three wires from the boiler to terminals 1, 2 and 4, with a link from 2 to 3.

Many thanks in advance
Ian

You don’t need the link between L and 1 at Hive if you’ve taken wires from the room stat connection. As for the Salus, either leave it in and link terminals 3 and 4 or decommission from boiler end.
