Hi all,

Been reading some posts about Warm Air Units but most are quite old, we have recently moved into a new house and it has the original S&R WAU from 35 years ago.

Looking for advice on what boiler and hot water circulator to replace it with - I know lots will say a wet system but we can't afford the money or disruption it would cause with a newborn baby in the house.

All advice and opinions would be gratefully received

Rhys

I'd say stick with your WAU, but upgrade, I'd love one in my home but have wet CH combi in mine.

Any recommendations boys

As long as they are maintained properly they are a cleaner and more efficient in my opinion, J&S are the ones if Micky G says so.

Thanks guys,

I had read a few people had concerns a few years ago about the quality of Johnson & starley going down a bit?

How much typically would I look at for anew j&s boiler and hot water, about 2 - 2.5k fitted?
