hey there, our storage heater had stopped working a few days back and we’re just looking to reset it but can’t seem to find a button/lever.
Wondering if anyone with experience has time to take a look at the picture I’ve attached
Thanks!

It looks like the button type thingy on the lower right, some are resettable but not sure about yours, needs testing with a multimeter

Make, model and google the user instructions would be a sensible first step.

Many have thermal overrides so it just need a reset.

yeah we’ve had a look online our model is dimplex XL18M not much online for this model unfortunately but appreciate it anyway!

I suppose there might be a few of the older ones still in use too.
They did not have a reset button.
They had a thermal link.
A length of shaped solder between two terminals and had a certain melting point according to manufacturer.
They would need replacing with a new one, often cause of melt was because the vents were covered with drying clothes, overheat, solder melt thereby disconnected.
Gt replacement one of correct temperature rating and lug spacing size and away you go.

Might be worth giving them a call
