residents permit parking

hi all,could anyone tell me how could get my local council to put residents parking or restricted times on parking in our street.all other streets in area have it,i have tried local councillor,emails,letters to council. other people have tried as well. ive nothing wrong withpeople parking up to go shopping/work but days/weekends is taking the ****. ps slightly upset because parked van away from my property last night and tools etc stolen,ok same thing might have happenedif outside mine but at least alarm would have been heard by me and not to be told by cops at 2am. thanks if anyone has any info

Get a petition from ALL the residents stating your requirements and reasons.
Not saying it will work but its worth a try to put in a concerted effort.

And do you have a local radio 'consumer' show where you are?

No idea :confused: We have Metro Radio with a guy called Tony Horn on the morning show. He is a prick of the highest order!
