Revolting Iranians

What a lot of cobblers

Find 1 piece of me supporting them or keep showing yourself as making bs up to try and save face.

Your hero trump has STOLEN the oil. You even agreed to it earlier remember

THEFT. Nothing less.

And you admire him

The tankers of oil you passionately defend as the property of Venezuela has been funding the Russian war effort as well as Hezbollah and Hamas.

That makes you a nailed on supporter of Russia, Hezbollah and Hamas. You are declaring your support for Russia and Terrorism.

Exactly

I think I said 10 days to nosy earlier although it's 13 days since the start of the protests. There have been quite a few stories about the BBC's reluctance to run the story

Yes - by BBC haters.

BBC Arabic was bad enough with some news companies branding BBC Arabic a branch of Hamas.

Not competitors, surely?

I didn't know till this morning that there was such a thing as BBC Persia, no wonder they tried to keep it quiet,

Thy didn't - it's well known.

But I guess only to those who pay attention.

I think somebody is playing a very clever game at the moment.

And I know somebody who isn't.

If it's so vital to take Venezuelan oil for the purpose of undermining Russia's war effort can we assume Trump will send in the Marines to deny Indian oil exports getting through?

Nonsense.

More nonsense.

The captured oil is very much like the spoils of war. The US has imposed unilateral extraterritorial sanctions on Venezuela. These have no legal basis in international law. But according to US law, they are legal.

But according to US law, they are legal.
When assets are frozen under sanctions, they are prohibited from being used, sold, or transferred, remaining inaccessible to the owner, but ownership itself doesn't change immediately; however, governments are increasingly seeking ways (through new laws) to confiscate these assets, transferring ownership to the state so proceeds can be used for purposes like victim compensation, though this process is legally complex and often slow.

  • No Change in Ownership: The assets aren't seized by the government; they just sit idle.

What war was declared?

None. I said 'like' the spoils of war. I meant they are analogous to the spoils of war. These type of sanctions amount to economic warfare. They are not legal, but the 'victor' gets to keep the spoils.

Thanks, that's very interesting.
