Not sure if it's been mentioned in the thread, however the history of this region is quite interesting. I only learnt this recently through folk making the point on the telly box. Assertion being Iran had a democratic setup in the (50s?) but their leader wanted to nationalise the oil industry. This didn't suit the west, so we had him disposed of and the rest, as they say, is history.

Very true, they didn't target those kids obviously, thats because they had no strategic or tactical value.
If they did, they would wipe them out.
War is about winning, those who say Trump will walk away after he has given the Iranians a slap are wrong, he can't walk away now because the Iranians will claim victory.
Trump is now committed to the complete defeat of Iran, if the Iranians don't fold and beg for mercy, that may require a ground invasion, that will lead to God knows where, the Russians and Chinese are supplying intelligence which allowed Iran to hit Tel Aviv and American bases.
