HI,

With all the high winds my roof have been damaged, last night I heard a tile sliding down the roof.

On inspection from the loft window I could see the ridge tile next to the chimney has came loose and slide down the roof and has broken in two.

What do I do? Would I be able to pick up a new one from a local builders merchant? the house is about 40+ years old.

Also was going to go up on the roof and make sure the rest of the tiles are OK. What do I use to fix the ridge and verge tiles in place, is it just some kind of motor or is there a specialized product for roof tiles.

Thanks

provided it is not a dry ridge system, sand/cement mortar will be fine.

try and do it on a mild dry day though. ;)

thanks for the response, will wait for safer climates at then get it sorted.

cheers
