RNLI

There it is, nose-f-all up to his usual tricks - who said all - hoping no one will notice so you can argue the toz for 15 pages over someone who never sail "all"
So you also agree. They are stopping the boats that they were paid to do.

Thanks for clarifying

Any other takers?

Another dodge.

Keep looking the fool boyo. It suits you.
If the smugglers got the paperwork to say the vessel was seaworthy, such certification would specify maximum onboard. So if you exceed that - you aren't compliant.

French Plod don't need to be experts to know if a vessel is legal or not - it fairly obviously isn't.

Dunno - have we put a cost per boat.
That's actually a good idea. We pay the french nothing but instead pay them per boat they stop with evidence the boat has also had a visit from Mr Stanley. See how many they stop then.

only you can articulate your question to make any sense.
So if the smugglers were to get the paperwork saying their vessel is seaworthy, and then an extra 20, 30, 40 migrants board it making unstable and say sitting dangerously low in the water, that legal document means the boat is still seaworthy?
You could always spare your humiliation and answer my question above.

Lets try to work this one through together.

You are saying that overloading is probably as more to blame than seaworthiness.

Seaworthiness is affected (not exclusively) by the load upon it.

So your statement is nonsense.

As much - correct. If not more so, especailly where desperate migrants and greedy smugglers are concerned - yes.

A valid legal document can be rendered pointless if another 20+ souls hop on board and destabilise the craft.

It doesn't matter how much you try to explain this to him, he will insist that he is right and try to deflect the problem onto you, it is something wired into him and he feels it as a personal loss by him being wrong therefore it must be you that is wrong for him to feel better. He is very much like Trump in this respect.

if we allow you to separate the load on the vessel from its seaworthiness criteria, just for the point of debate, do you believe that these vessels could be seaworthy for say 15 people?
