I've made a start on tiling my kitchen today..
started against one wall ( yeah I know.. ) after laying out to find the best place to start and decidint that this was best place.

I managed to tile myself into the corner....
the adhesive says it's fast set.. says 2-3 hours and it's good to walk on..so sat down and leant against the wall and had a kip for a couple of hours.. ( was up late last night.. 3AM before going to bed.. )

took off my shoes and stepped over onto the tiles I did first..

no missus.. bachelor pad mate.. saves on council tax..

now.. adhesive on the floor or on the tile? guess it's supposed to be the floor but if I cover all the back of the tile and notch the adhesive, does it make a difference?

i remember the days, partying 24 7, then being ill missing work, finidng yourself in the "monday club" then eventually getting back to work weds lunch time if you were lucky.... the good old days!!!!

and to answer your question its best if you put the adhesive on the floor but if you cover the tile properly there shouldnt be no come backs.
