Problem is he’s good but young &, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to have a brain, unlike some of his peers. He’s been spoilt to the nth degree to the point where he thinks he’s almost god & untouchable & his manager is no touchline role mode either. I hate the way football is now; all the line dramatics when they score, winding up the crowd, no wonder there is so much trouble both in & out of the stadiums, I’d ban any such behavior on the pitch. I loved, was quiet good at & played in local football teams until I was mid 20’s; I still watch the European & world cup series but generally it’s just a total load of self indulgent sheite now as far as I’m concerned which seems to increasingly dictate everyone’s social life; god knows why!

Rant a bit off topic; sorry.

Can't agree with that, he's a top player, same as giggs, same as scholes. Just because they play for the scum doesn't mean talent can be denied.

Rooney is a striker, his goal scoring record for a striker is poor, his assists is pretty poor too.

They say he brings more to the game than that, well Kuyt brings more to our game yet everyone says hes crap, and hes scored more goals and assists than Rooney

Rooney is very overated, look at his England performances....rubbish!

I agree Giggs has been brilliant, Scholes in his prime was outstanding
