Round-head sleeve anchors

My gate frame is loose and it is installed with round-head sleeve anchor bolts. I need to re-use the existing holes. Is there a way to extract the old anchors so I can put in new ones???

Try unscrewing the old anchor 1/2" or so, and tapping the head back in....it may just release the compressed shaft of the anchor enough for you to waggle it out. Original rawlbolts come out easily enough (usually) this way.

Could you remove the bolts and leave the sleves in place, and then just put new bolts back into the same sleeves?
