Can anyone help please, I have tried to fit a Salamander s flange to my cylinder, Only to find after removing top outlet fittings i am left with a male thread on the tank that is smaller than the male thread on the flange. Not sure what the size of the thread from tank is but think 22mm.

Sadly the S flange doesn't fit all cylinders.

You might have to use an Essex flange if you're brave enough or more likely repipe the dhw outlet pipe to run up at 45 degrees and take the feed from thar at 90 degrees
