Hello all,

I have a Samsung, american style fridge freezer, model RSH1DTMH.

Every now and again ( as in maybe twice an hour), a whirring noise can be heard, and stops either after a while, or when the door opens.

It is just under the two years, so I will have sumsung called tomorrow and get them to fix it, but what makes this noise? It sounds like a broken fan inside a pc, so its either a fan type device, or a compressor.

It sounds as if its coming from the fridge side, and stops when the fridge door is opened. Opening the freezer side has NO effect, so I think its fridge related.

Cheers.
